Dorney Park Haunt 2009 Pt. 1

So I know it's only February, but for Haunt lovers you can never start early enough! I'm happy to report that Dorney Park will be greatly expanding their Halloween Haunt program for the 2009 season, coming off of the mega expansion the event saw in 2008.

With that, I'm happy to exclusively be able to start to share some details of what may be coming to the event this fall. Details are not final, yet, but some rumored information is leaking out.

Some attractions will return, and many will be new, but the big news is that the total number of Haunt attractions in 2009 will be 13!

Gauntlet is said to be a new outdoor scare zone located on what was the 'home stretch' of Headstone Hollow last year.

A theme that originated with Knott's Scary Farm in California, the Gauntlet will take those who enter on a twisted trip through one medieval town gone horribly wrong.

A new maze said to be located in an unused area of the park near Thunderhawk will be Death Trap. To be a partially enclosed maze with no ceiling, this one also promises to feature some of the most gruesome torture and death scenes ever!

One of the more exciting new mazes should be Backwoods: Camp Cudie. Rumored to be located in the untouched woods located behind Steel Force's station, this one is sure to be a scream.

What happens when a friendly camp goes horribly wrong? Groups will be separated among different paths and only then will they find out.
